Introduction to Modern Cupping Therapy
This course gives an introduction of the education and therapeutic use of cups on the various body systems. Lecture and slideshow presentation will include the education in theory, science and physiological responses of therapeutic cupping; including safetyas contradictions. Demonstration will include the back and shoulder engaging participants in the findings.

About the presenter:
Stacie Nevelus is a licensed massage therapist in Florida (1999), certified vacuum therapies practitioner (2005) and educator (2009). She has specialized in therapeutic and sports massage applications and became certified in Neuromuscular therapy (2001). Stacie is co-founding owner of Modern Cupping Therapy Education Company (2017).  She has taught all over the United States and abroad and she practices in Florida. Stacie has become known as a specialist in acute and chronic injuries as well as working with competing and professional athletes. Stacie has worked with many athletes ranging from world ranked tennis professionals, triathletes, national and Olympics runners, MLB and NFL players all while integrating the wonders of Modern Cupping Therapy. Stacie was the personal massage therapist for Adam Jones, CF of the Baltimore Orioles from 2010-2019 yielding him the player with most games played in the MLB for the 2010’s, a whole decades.  Integrating Modern Cupping Therapy into treatment sessions has been an amazing addition to her practice, continuously yielding incredible results. She has published many articles in Massage Magazine, Massage Today and Massage Message as well as various television news appearances. Stacie continues to learn and grow adding vibration sound therapy and became certified in energy work as a Certified Emotion Code practitioner (2022).  Stacie brings her passion for bodywork and Modern Cupping Therapy to the table and the classroom!
