Quick Release Technique for head, neck and shoulder relief
This two-hour continuing education presentation combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice, allowing you to add this amazing Quick Release Technique to your skill set.  Learning just the right pressures to use on those areas, as well as palpate the soft tissue at the base of the occiput of the cranium is a great takeaway for this class.
The Quick Release Technique is widely used in Structural Energetic Therapy®, which focuses on the unwinding of a body’s core distortions and rehabilitates them into long-lasting balance providing corrected structural support.  Developed by Don McCann, MA, LMT, LMHC, CSETT, Structural Energetic Therapy and Cranial/Structural Therapy can release strain patterns and increase muscle strength, helping eliminate your client’s pain with long-term benefits.

About the presenter:
Barry Engh, BA,LMT,CSET, began his study of bodywork in 2012 and in 2014, graduated from the D.G. Erwin Technical Center, now known as Erwin Technical College, and obtained his massage license shortly thereafter. He has also received advanced training in Structural Energetic Therapy® by Don McCann, MA, LMT, LMHC, CSETT.
Barry began his journey into discovering the restorative power of touch in 2003 when he began his study of Aikido, a Japanese martial art, while attending the University of South Florida.  Shortly afterwards he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology in 2005 and continued developing his awareness of the body’s optimal structure and function by studying Yoga to facilitate his recovery after a knee injury. He has also supplemented his knowledge of the body through weightlifting, various other martial arts disciplines, and human biomechanics under John Haddad. Barry takes an individualized, client-focused approach to bodywork, and uses a variety of techniques to help empower clients to meet their specific needs. He believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal itself and sees himself as a facilitator of that process.
