FSMTA celebrates Massage Therapy Awareness Week (MTAW) annually the last week in October.

The history behind this event begins with the first Massage Therapy Awareness Proclamation, declared in 1996 by Florida Governor Lawton Chiles. Our purpose is increase awareness and education about the benefits of massage therapy. Consider using Massage Therapy Awareness Week to create marketing programs to promote information about how massage therapy positively impacts overall health and wellness.
