FL Laws & Rules 
This course covers Chapters 456 and 480 and Rules Chapter 64B-7. Pete always instigates a lively conversation and this year’s presentation will be no exception. He’ll have insights on the new law (HB 197) and its effects. Pete has an inside view from his participation on the FL Board of Massage Therapy Probable Cause Panel. Bring your questions!

About the presenter:
Pete Whitridge, BA, LMT, BCMT, has been a licensed massage therapist since 1988.  He is a founder and Past President of the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) and has dedicated his career to helping establish high standards in massage therapy education.  He teaches throughout the US and is a frequent speaker at FSMTA, AMTA, and FCA meetings and conventions.  Pete served as Chair of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy and has served on the Board's Probable Cause Panel since 2016.  He received the FSMTA Charles Canfield Award for dedicated service to the massage profession in 2004. He was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2016. MA9121
