This introductory level workshop is an overview of Visceral Manipulation, intended for licensed or certified healthcare professionals.

About the Presenter:

Joanne Muir LMT, CST

Joanne Muir' s life work in bodywork and manual therapy encompasses over 20 years of experience and training. After obtaining her massage therapy license from the School of Humanities in 1998 she went on immediately to study craniosacral therapy, myofasical release, pediatric CST, and Somato-emotional release work. 
As her trainings brought her deeper perception and palpation skills, Joanne found the greatest teacher to be the body itself, understanding that a keen ability to listen was at the root of her work as a therapist. 
She has now trained with the Barral Institute for over 10 years, enjoying her affiliation as a teaching assistant and Course Intro Presenter. She integrates her work in Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, and listening techniques to her modalities and finds the integrative bodywork style to be very effective. 
Joanne holds a degree from Eckerd College in Human Development which she finds compliments her work well. She feels most passionate about facilitating a person' s path to freedom, be in physical, mental, emotional.
