Introduction to Lymphatic Drainage for the Orthopedic Patient
This 2 hour introductory course will demonstrates lymphatic drainage techniques for injuries and post operative conditions. Learn how these techniques help reduce swelling and promote healing after a sprained ankle, post operative total knee or hip surgery, whiplash and athletic injuries. This is not a course to treat Lymphedema.

About our presenter:
Jack Ryan is a Licensed Massage Therapist and the owner of Soar Point Massage in Sarasota, FL. Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Total Body Balancing. Jack has focused his career on soft tissue pain relief and rehabilitation since 1993. His training includes a wide range of manual therapies, and he emphasizes whole-body assessment to identify root causes of dysfunction. A recognized educator, Jack teaches assessment manual therapy both nationally and internationally and serves as an instructor with the D’Ambrogio Institute. He is a past recipient of multiple FSMTA awards, including, Sarasota Chapter LMT of the Year.
