Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) Intro to Clinical Application
In this 2-hour CE lecture, we will be focusing on the muscles of the hip girdle and how they relate to lower back pain. You will learn the principles of AIS as developed by Aaron Mattes. We will review muscle function and how to reach the deepest tissues of the body with less discomfort to your client.

About the presenter:
Bruce Baltz is a licensed massage therapist in the states of NY and FL while maintaining his Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (BCTMB). Bruce has been a deep tissue stone educator since 1999 and teaching AIS since 2004. He received his Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) certification in 2015 and focuses on providing AIS sessions to a diverse age range of clients; assisting with multiple conditions, including but not limited to joint replacement, sports performance, functional movement, stability and balance. He is the founder of Spiriphysical® LLC, a current volunteer of the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) Marketing Committee and a former Board Member of NCBTMB. Bruce has also volunteered for the FSMTA Miami-Dade Chapter and AMTA Florida Chapter since moving to Florida in 2001.
